The Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business boasts national achievements and recognition, and is therefore a superior institution in which to learn the subject of business in an undergraduate study program.  The College prepares its students exceptionally well for the working world or graduate school, whichever may come first.

It’s impressive the MCB is one of five accredited business schools in the country that offers only an undergrad program.  It states that in the state of Colorado, there are a few colleges within a 50-mile radius of the MCB who DO offer grad programs in business.  It most certainly was a bold move for the MCB to rid of their grad program in ’92 just because of the competition.  Colleges are businesses.  Competition is what makes the economy healthy, and if a business does not offer something their competitor does, the competitor will simply steal their piece of the theoretical pie.  Don’t you think the students of the MCB would want to continue on with their graduate career at the school that was so good to them during their undergraduate experience?  Stick with their alma mater?  I would.
